Get ready for a world of wonder at the 30th annual Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show, a uniquely spectacular showcase of motorized mechanical marvels from the 20th and 21st centuries on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Half Moon Bay Airport – just 20 miles south of San Francisco.
You’ll see the world’s coolest cars of every era and style, model-T fire engines, vintage buses, custom motorcycles, tricked out trucks, sleek streamliners, one-of-a-kind antique engines and tractors and historic military aircraft and tons more.
“The Coolest Show On Earth” features a mesmerizing array of more than 2,000 ultra cool antique, vintage, classic, custom and exotic machines of all kinds on display for public viewing.

Parking at the event is included in the admission price. There is a designated area for bicycle parking at the south end of the airport field.

New Additions for 2023 Include:
This year’s show will feature a new, improved event layout bringing all the attractions closer together and making it a more walkable, unified show with separate entrances for spectator parking (access from Capistrano Road at the south end of the airport) vs. display vehicles, vendors, sponsors and volunteers (access from the airport main entrance on Highway 1).
- The Erickson Collection’s awe-inspiring military aircraft including their B-17 Bomber “Ye Olde Pub”, The Flying Fortress of the Skies and their classic North American P-51D Mustang Fighter, regarded as one of the great success stories of military aviation history. Get an up-close look at these historical monuments and meet the crew plus a limited # of rides will be available. online/bookaflight - “Machines of Tomorrow”, a brand-new showcase of the next-generation of technology with headliner Alef. Alef is a California-based sustainable electric transportation company developing a first real flying car, a road-legal passenger car capable of achieving vertical takeoff and forward flight. Alef’s goal is to enable faster, easier, environment-friendly commutes and alleviate the burden of urban congestion thanks to proprietary technology that elevates the vehicle safely, quietly, and environment-friendly above everyday traffic.
- ”World-Class Woodies”, a big display by the Antique and Classic Boating Society of Northern California. See antique and classic boats from the polished mahogany runabouts made from the ‘20s through the ‘60s to the classic fiberglass boats that changed the face of pleasure boating.
- ”Magnificent Military Vehicles”, a big display by American Armory Museum including a Jeep that was used by General Patton, a replica of a World War II missile Jeep, a replica of General Patton‘s command car, a military M916 trailer and a Half-track that served in both World War II and the Israel Six-Day War. Rides will be available on the Half-track for $15 per person. It seats 8 riders.
- ”Hop on Board”, a special display by Niles Railway Museum and Pacific Locomotive Association Museum with antique railway artifacts and machinery including a hand railcar, velocipede and speeder car.
- “Running Wild”, 6-time World Champion Brendan Murry’s AA/Fuel Dragster will be part of the World Record Wonderland and the planned special display of nostalgia dragsters to honor the legendary old Half Moon Bay Dragstrip.
- ”Hop on the Bus, Gus”, The Pacific Bus Museum will be displaying one of its restored, vintage, one-of-a-kind buses. The museum’s mission is the preservation, restoration, operation and display of buses representing various eras of bus travel.
- Specialized Helicopters will be offering spine-tingling R-44 helicopter rides with breathtaking views of the Bay. Rides and $50 per person for a 12-minute ride. Each helicopter ride seats three passengers.

- “Mustang Madness”, a spectacular display of America’s Premier World War II Fighter.
- “World Record Wonderland”, super sleek speed machines with dragsters and streamliners.
- “Gearhead Grounds”, antique working machines including beautifully refurbished fly-wheel engines from the Early Days Gas Engine & Tractor Association and meticulously restored logging equipment and artifacts from Willits CA-based Roots of Motive Power.
- “Highway Patrol”, a special display and parade of Dragnet-like vintage police cars from the 60s and 70s plus an array of specialty vehicles and assets from Cal Fire, San Mateo County Sheriffs and CHP.
- An array of nostalgia dragsters to honor the former Half Moon Bay Drag Strip.
- ”Rad Robotics”, big robotics display and demo by Bay Area high school robotics teams and manufacturers.
- Baylands Quarter Midget Racing Association’s special exhibit of competition-ready mini race cars.
- Unimotorcycle Drag Racing, uniquely wild and crazy, side-by-side, single-wheel unimotorcycle drag racing.
- Military Vehicle Half-track Rides. Experience the rush and excitement of riding in a Half-track that served in both World War II and the Israel Six-Day War. Rides will be available for $15 per person. It seats 8 riders.
- “Bob Senz’ Big Cacklefest” – a mass synchronized firing-up of the engines (10am,12pm, 2pm).
- Dream Machine Of The Year Award Presented on the Runnin’ Down A Dream Stage by The Car Guy Channel’s Mike Hennessy, organizer of Hot San Jose Nights. Two Best In Show Awards will be given based on Customization, Creativity And Downright Cool from the many acres of magnificent machines on display.

- “Grease Monkey Kids Super Duper Funzone”, thrilling bungee jump, waterballerz, rock climbing wall, extreme inflatables, face painting, body art, glitter tattoos and tons of awesome amusements.
