Event Details

Local San Francisco filmmaker, Doctor Zee, takes you on an adventure in the award-winning film, “Pakistani Chainsaw: A Love Story” filled with uncontrollable laughs, screams and sizzling romantic Bollywood scenes, while paying homage to ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’. Continuing to challenge American preconceptions of Pakistan, Zee utilizes beautiful cinematography to showcase the desolate deserts and bustling markets of Pakistan. Rony, a young American sojourner, meets handsome Pakistani guide Ben Hur, while investigating child labor. The cast also includes Pakistani Charlie Chaplin and Borock Obammah. Doctor Zee shows us the world of his youth, painted by the youth who lives there now.

Meet the filmmaker in person and Q & A after the film. Winner ‘Best feature film’ Another Hole in the Head Film Festival.
