Palo Alto “Small Business Heroes” Tour w/ Free Food & Drinks

We’re excited to welcome you to CornerMarket’s Small Business Hero’s Tour!

Below is important information for the event.

• We will get started inside Hana Haus, at 456 University Ave in Palo Alto at 5:15. If you are running a little late, no worries, please come anyway. And if you haven’t been to Hana Haus before, just find the Blue Bottle, walk straight into it, then keep an eye out on the right. Hana Haus is the attached coworking space and one of us will be at the front to greet you.
• We will begin by welcoming you to the space, having you download our app, and then loading your new account with $5 for you to spend at our evening stops. The first chance you’ll have to use it will be purchasing a slice or two of delicious pizza, for only one penny
• Each business along our route will be offering a special discount/offer. When we go into their location, you will personally get to meet the owner(s), learn about their business, and hear about the evening’s special deal. Free boba… chocolate from a Portuguese island… these are just some of the delights in store for you!
• We will end the night at Qualia Contemporary Art Gallery where a couple more businesses who have signed up on the app will have the chance to say a few words about their experience. We will also be raffling off several exciting items, and will have champagne to celebrate you, the small businesses that have signed on to our new app, and CornerMarket’s first public introduction of our new game-changing platform.
• Please do your best to be on time, but if you’re running late, you can text Graham at 305-340-2025 to find where we are along the route. Better late than never
• Bring a friend! The more the merrier! Ideally, ask them to register on Eventbrite, but either way, they are welcome!
• If you use social media, please use the hashtag #cornermarketapp when posting any photos/videos from the night.

Below, here are the four businesses we will be visiting and the rough times we will arrive.

• 5:15pm – Hana Haus – Pizza and Snacks (456 University Ave)
• 6:00pm – Kung Fu Tea – Boba (318 University Ave)
• 6:30pm –Alegio Chocolaté – Chocolate Tasting and Wine (522 Bryant St)
• 7:00pm – Qualia Art Gallery Champagne and Snacks (328 University Ave)

A question we keep getting is – how is all of this free, it’s too good to be true! Well, we’re working hard to launch our new CornerMarket App, where we help you support small businesses. We’re still in beta testing mode, and you are our first beta testers! So please expect that there may be a few hiccups along the way, but we are grateful to have your participation and thoughts on our progress, and providing some free food and drinks and a chance to learn more about your community is the least we can do. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
