Experience the great films of Hollywood’s Golden Era in one of America’s finest Art Deco movie palace.

With over 3,000 seats and a meticulously-restored interior, the Paramount offers a true “Movie Palace” experience straight out of the 1930s – with period newsreels, cartoons, previews, live music from the Mighty Wurlitzer organ and the audience participation spinning wheel game of “Dec-O-Win.”

July 22nd Screening: JAWS (1975) – This was the film that scared the daylights out of every beach-goer in the summer of 1975. It was also the film that launched the career of a director named Stephen Spielberg. Jaws won three Academy Awards including Oscars for Best Sound and Best Music. The original score by composer John Williams has become etched indelibly into our consciousness as a signal that something sinister this way comes.

Doors open 60 minutes before the show – giving you ample time to purchase a cocktail, beverage, or movie snack, admire the Art Deco décor, and enjoy the music from the Mighty Wurlitzer organ.

When the curtain rises at 8:00 p.m., you’ll be treated to a newsreel, cartoon, previews, and the Paramount’s prize give-away game “Dec-O-Win”. The feature film begins at 8:30 p.m.
