Event Details

Come celebrate the Filipino Heritage with a parol workshop. Parol is a star-shaped lantern that is constructed with bamboos and decorated with tissue paper. This year, lanterns will be decorated with other materials including craft sticks and Light Emitting Diodes. They will demonstrate how to incorporate arduino uno for programmable illuminating lanterns. Bring friends and family for an afternoon of making, sharing, and Filipino snacks.
