Patchwork Show is Dear Handmade Life’s bi-annual makers festival showcasing local emerging artists, crafters and designers alongside artisan food, DIY craft workshops, gourmet food trucks and indie music in Oakland’s Jack London Square from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2019.
Vendors are selected through a jury process and features clothing for men, women & kids, handbags, accessories, jewelry, art, ceramics, home goods, crochet & knit items, pet gear, kits & patterns, apothecary goods and more.
Over the years, Patchwork has grown from a small parking lot craft fair into multiple locations including street festivals and large indoor marketplaces. Each location is as unique as the venue and showcases different makers and collaborations that reflect the local environment and community.
Patchwork’s Northern California event draws on the East Bay’s strong artistic community and commitment to support local commerce. Our venue, Jack London Square, is not only right on the water but features several restaurants (we love the shortbread cookies at Miette) and a modern hotel with live jazz on the weekends. We’re honored to be a part of the handmade movement in Oakland, a city that embraces all things local and creative.
Patchwork Show is a rain or shine event.
