Patrick Dougherty: Public Outdoor Art Opening Celebration | Walnut Creek

World renowned artist Patrick Dougherty brings his signature willow stickwork sculpture to Civic Park in downtown Walnut Creek! This monumental public art installation will be on view for two years.

Built by the artist and a team of 60 volunteers from the community, the project is inspired by the idea that ‘art is for everyone.’

Join us for a free opening event to celebrate the completion of this epic project, featuring an artist talk and art activities inspired by the installation. All ages welcome.
