SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2026
The 2026 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 9, 2026 with Hermán Olivera y Orquesta Taíno to kick off its 26th season. The Festival features over 100 free performances from May to November in Downtown San Francisco.
San Francisco jazz singer Paula West possesses a strikingly beautiful voice, a full, velvety, caressing contralto. But it’s the expansive body of music she explores with her exquisite instrument that makes her one of the most consistently enthralling singers on the scene.
Whether West interprets Bob Dylan, David Bowie or Irving Berlin, Kurt Weill, Papa Charlie Jackson or Hank Williams, her eclectic repertoire sounds like every song was written with her in mind. She’s joined by her stellar Bay Area band led by the insistently inventive pianist and arranger Adam Shulman.
