Event Details

See the play “Birds of a Feather” for pay-what-you-can admission on Thursday, May 23, 2013.

Birds of a Feather is a heart-warming, smart comedy about two bird families: Roy and Silo, a pair of male penguins that adopt and raise a chick at the Central Park Zoo and Pale Male and Lola, two hawks living and raising their own on a trendy Manhattan building.

The play is based on true events that also inspired the famously banned children’s book And Tango Makes Three.

The play highlights that any type of family that works should be celebrated, conventional or not, gay or straight.
