UCSF
UCSF is hosting an upcoming fun, FREE Community Pediatric T2D Event for those under 21 living with T2D and their whole families.
The event will be an engaging day of education, connection, free healthy breakfast and lunch, appearances from local sports teams, vendor fair, hands on cooking demo, games, awesome raffle prizes- gift cards, air pods, tickets to events- and more! It is taking place at MetWest High School in Oakland (Free parking available on site; BART accessible, and transportation financial assistance available) on April 8th from 8:30 am-4pm.
Also, every person under 21 living with Type 2 Diabetes who attends 3 education sessions during the event that day will receive a $100 gift card at the end of the event!
There is an English and Spanish track for the event and all ages are welcome as long as one of the participants under age 21 has T2D.
