Event Details

Join Litquake and artist Nancy Calef for a presentation of new paintings entitled Peoplescapes. Inspired by the many faces of North Beach and beyond, this collection hones in on the fervent energy of the Bay Area with sweeping crowd-scapes detailing the diverse personalities that are often overlooked amidst the hubbub of a downtown intersection, a farmers market, or a BART car. Nancy’s work reframes these spaces as places of discovery, opportunity, and connection by reminding us of the beauty of individuality against the backdrop of a crowd.

Live music by Bob Bralove, Patti Weiss, Nancy Calef, and Ben Ames.

This exhibition runs through June 30, 2023 – view by appointment.

A portion of proceeds from Peoplescapes will benefit Kidquake, a project of The Litquake Foundation.
