Any day can be a holiday, and so for math nerds and pie lovers, March 14th is an extra special mathematical date.

Pi (aka π) is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter which comes out to roughly 3.14. So March 14th has been dubbed “Pi Day”-  a quirky and fun celebratory day of both Pi (and pie) which was actually popularized right here in San Francisco back in 1988.

Pi Day activities from 1pm to 3:30pm.
