“Pickin’ On The Polk” SF’s Free 10-Hour Music Festival + Block Party 2026
Like a mini Hardly Strictly Bluegrass taking over an entire neighborhood, Pickin’ on the Polk is a free block party & concert in the Discover Polk Community Benefit District on April 25, 2026.
This special festival will temporarily transform Polk Street into a free, all-day bluegrass, jazz, rock and electronic festival featuring renowned artists playing in the neighborhood.

Located On Polk St. At The Corner Of Broadway (Noon to 6p)
- Petty Theft – Popular high-energy six-piece Tom Petty tribute
- Andre Thierry – Award-winning master of all accordion types
- Kevin Carducci & the KC Stars – Lively old-timey country & western
- Charlie Torch – Mandolin, guitar and fiddle bluegrass experience
- Deep Thicket Dwellers – Playful hillbilly jazz originating from Alaska and Virginia
Cal St. Stage at Polk and California (7pm to 10pm)
- Haute Mess – Bass-heavy, infectious melodies and smile-making beats
- DJ Scene – Las Vegas DJ from Jet (Mirage), Wet Republic (MGM), Haze (Aria), Encore Beach Club (Wynn) and Light (Mandalay Bay)
