Pigeon First Aid (SF)

During this event, we will be walking through the streets of San Francisco. Bring water and patience as it can take a long time to identify and catch an individual before having the opportunity to help them. We will have a training session before we begin to go over what you will be doing as well as a presentation, by Dr. Rebecca Gooley, about rodenticide bait boxes that we will look for along the way. After you attend the training, presentation, and have participated in a destringing, you will receive a certification of achievement and your very own destringing kit! The skills you learn today you can take home or put into practice anytime you see a bird in need.

*Note that for the safety of the birds we ask that you if you do this workshop you don’t visit an animal sanctuary within a week
