The Pint-Size 3 art exhibition at Transmission Gallery is a national celebration of small-scale artwork that proves size is no limitation when it comes to creativity. It features over 250 pieces by more than 172 artists from across the country and right here in Oakland. Each work measures no more than 7 x 7 inches for wall-mounted pieces or 8 inches high by 7 x 7 inches for free-standing works, inviting viewers to engage with the intimate, the intricate, and the unexpected. Materials range from the traditional — bronze, ceramic, glass, watercolor, oil, and acrylic — to the delightfully surprising: potatoes, rhinestones, gum balls, fur, nails, and more.
