Piranesi’s Rome and the Classical Imaginary

This exhibition explores the interplay between fantasy, historical memory, and documentation in the art of Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720–1778). Curated from the collections of USF’s Donohue Rare Book Room and the Mills College Art Museum at Northeastern University by USF’s M.A. in Museum Studies Program led by Kate Lusheck.
