Plant Sale & Culinary Herbs Presentation | Oakland

People’s Grocery is hosting an event to benefit our garden at the California Hotel, a low-income residential community. This is the last chance to see the garden before the building goes under construction in November. At 1pm a local herbalist will speak about the uses and benefits of culinary herbs. The event will also include a plant sale featuring a variety of herbs as well as vegetable and other plant starts. Profits from the plant sale will directly benefit the California Hotel garden.
