Friday, July 10, 2020 - 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm | Cost: FREE
Antioch Police Department | 300 L St. Antioch, CA 94509

On the steps of the police department, we have organized a candlelight vigil in honor of 9 individuals unjustly killed by police here in Antioch, including one man killed in San Francisco by an officer who transferred here afterward to evade discipline. The families of the victims have been invited to speak, we will have a special appearance by traditional Aztec dancers, and candles for the vigil will be provided.

We will leave photos, flowers, and candles for each victim on the steps as if they were killed on their front lawn so these officers are faced with those lives they have taken. We invite anyone in the Bay Area to attend and honor them with us. Please wear mask and practice social distancing.

Please note that this was directly submitted to us by the promoter and but no event link was submitted.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
