This year, Political and Proud CA is back with a new event celebrating the work of young women who are leaders in the greater Alameda community.

Join us for a night of discussion featuring young women like Eman Khatri of Alameda High School, Girls Inc. of the Island City’s Women Who Dare Teen Award Winner and Amy Chu, and EHS alum who is studying Environmental Economics and Policy at UC Berkeley.

There will be two discussion panels: one on Effective Organizing and Leadership, moderated by New York Times Best-Selling Author of the “Rad Women” series, Kate Schatz; and another on Young Women Paving the Way in Male-Dominated Fields, moderated by Alameda School Board President, Mia Bonta.

The event will have limited seating, so register soon. Light bites and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
