Event Details

Remember your favorite pop-up books from childhood? Learn how to make pop-up cards just in time for the Holidays. And with a full stomach? Yes please!

This will be a two-part event. Join us for a pot-luck from 1-2pm, then stick around for the pop-up lesson which will run from 2-4pm (or until we’re done). You will learn a few basic folds and techniques that you can apply to cards, books, zines… anything you’d like. Once you get started and get more comfortable the possibilities are endless. No experience is required, and children over 10 are absolutely welcome.

The potluck is a free event, and if you decide to stick around for the class at 2pm it will be $10-$15 sliding scale. Basic materials will be provided, but if you have an xacto, cutting mat, bone folder, or any fun paper you want to play with you are strongly encouraged to bring them. Also, please bring along any pop-up books you may have at home to share with the group and provide inspiration!

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
