Join us for an informal conversation with artists Paulette Traverso and Diane Komater as they share their work in State of the Union, a pop-up exhibition exploring creativity in turbulent times. Discover how their art responds to a world in flux and sparks dialogue about resilience, humor, and hope.

Join us for an informal conversation with artists Paulette Traverso and Diane Komater as they share their work in State of the Union, a pop-up exhibition exploring creativity in turbulent times. Discover how their art responds to a world in flux and sparks dialogue about resilience, humor, and hope.
Also joining the discussion are Nancy Latham, Jess Beebe, and Lisa Claxton from Indivisible East Bay. Nancy will share Indivisible’s strategy for fighting fascism, and Jess and Lisa will describe IEB’s Overpass Visibility Brigade project: spectacles on overpasses to ground resistance in the physical space and welcome people into the movement.
In times of upheaval, art becomes both mirror and megaphone.
