The Back Porch Trio is an indie folk band from Mendocino County in Northern California. We perform at more than fifty events a year in and around Mendocino, Lake, and Sonoma Counties, mostly at wineries, theaters, bars, tap houses, weddings, private events, and restaurants. We have a fun-loving sound created from a combination of musical influences from folk, blues, classic rock, jam band, americana, and bluegrass. We write unique, original songs with simple arrangements, understated acoustic instrumentation (guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, and light percussion), and two-part harmony vocals. Our song choices range from upbeat stomp and holler, plaintive ballads, funky, folky, or just plain fun. The Back Porch Trio performs from a collection of their own songs mixed with clever concepts of popular cover tunes. Rosie Wetzel (ukulele and vocals), Steve Hahm (acoustic guitar and vocals) and Jeff Taylor (bass) have known one another through different musical groups and combos for over 15 years now. We love music, we love playing, and we love a fun atmosphere wherever we go.

Blending rapid-fire finger style slide guitar and honest, heartfelt songwriting, Clay Hawkins creates his own unique brand of acoustic rock. Influences like Neil Young, John Fahey, The Black Keys, Nick Cave and even Radiohead come together behind a well worn yet lush vocal style. Clay’s music unfolds naturally, taking the listener on a ride that is entirely his own.
