Tour the secret, and not so secret, gardens of SF in the Portola Garden Tour featuring 25 private and public gardens. Even if your only experience with plants is that Obama Chia Pet your uncle got you for Christmas, you’re sure to enjoy all the beautiful flowers and plants and greenery skilled gardeners are cultivating right in the middle of the city.

Just be on the look out for gnomes, you won’t be able to hear them… those g’s are silent.
Please note there are very steep hills, so you’ll likely need a car to best experience this self-guided tour.
