POSTPONED: 2021 Himalayan Fair (Oct. 2-3)

We have realized, with the greatest regret, that we cannot hold the Himalayan Fair next month. The Delta variant of Covid-19 poses an evolving risk. The safety of fairgoers, merchants, performing artists, and staff is our most important priority, particularly considering the family-friendly nature of our event. Our plan and our hope is to hold the fair in the spring of 2022.

We want to extend our profound appreciation to those of you who have supported the fair with your donations. These funds will help us relaunch the fair when it is safe to do so. Thank you for your continuing patience as we navigate the pandemic with all due caution.

Although we so hoped for a fair in October and are so terribly disappointed, we look forward to seeing you in the spring for the next Himalayan Fair.

Founded in 1983, the Himalayan Fair is an annual celebration of the arts and culture of the Himalayan region and its people. The Fair offers a rare occasion to experience a Himalayan festival without leaving the Bay Area.

Join us October 2 & 3, 2021 for a two-day festival of entertainment (including some of the best World music and traditional music & dance from Nepal, Tibet, Mongolia, and Bhutan), along with amazing food, shopping and people.
