Event Details

A representative from Garden for the Environment will present “Growing Food in the City: A brief introduction to urban food production in San Francisco.” Also, Green Zebra will offer information about why it’s so important to choose organic produce, and to support our Farmers’ Markets such as the one that takes place at Crocker Galleria every Thursday.

In celebration of Earth Day, Crocker Galleria has teamed up with Green Zebra to host a series of Power Hours. These quick and fun mini-seminars aim to educate the community about easy and inexpensive ideas for more sustainable everyday living. Power Hour events on a variety of topics will take place from noon – 1 pm, Monday, April 19th through Earth Day, Thursday, April 22nd.
