The SF Art Book Fair is an annual multi-day festival of artists’ publications. The event is free and open to the public and features artists’ books, art catalogs, monographs, periodicals, zines, printed ephemera, and artists’ multiples.
These works are presented by over 100 independent publishers, antiquarian dealers, artists, collectors, and enthusiasts.
Over the weekend, the fair hosts a diverse range of talks, discussions, book launches, on and off-site special projects, exhibitions and signings.

A Preview Party, hosted by CHROMA, will be held on the evening of Friday, July 19, 2019 from 6 pm to 10 pm. This free event is open to the public and will feature music from DJ Centipede (Mophono/Change The Beat), as well as food, wine, and beer for sale.
The fair is organized by Colpa Press, Minnesota Street Project and Park Life with the mission to further cultivate the unique art publishing community within the Bay Area while providing a platform for national and international publishers to exhibit their work to new audiences.
The weekend will be complemented by robust programming, outdoor activities, unique SFABF artist editions available for sale, and appearances by the much-loved SFABF mascot, Booky.
