Prince “FlashDance” Free Outdoor Dance Party | Ferry Building

Flashdance is a free periodic “flash-mob” type outdoor dance party led by “Trikeasaurus,” a mobile DJ set up on the back of a bike.

It’s time for an impromptu dance party to celebrate Prince – a free outdoor dance party to celebrate the passing of one of the greatest musicians of the age. Wear Purple, get ready to dance in front of the Ferry Building 8p to 10pm.

The most amazing musician of the age has passed. I don’t know what else to say, but let’s dance it out. To Prince of course & maybe some of his related bands.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve done a FlashDance, so who knows how many people will show up? Maybe a few, maybe the huge crowd we had when we did MJ’s – but whatever – I’ll be there & I’ll be dancing. WEAR PURPLE.

• WHEN: TONIGHT, APRIL 21th at 8:00 PM – 10PM
• DIRECTIONS: Take any downtown headed MUNI – most of them come close, or take BART to the Embarcadero station. Once you are on Market – look for the Ferry Building (clock tower) and head towards it. We’ll be in the plaza in the street in front of the Ferry Building.
