Event Details

Prepare your peg-leg and eye-patch for an outdoor showing of “The Princess Bride” and a pirate-themed costume contest at  Berkeley’s Center Street Summer Cinema event on Saturday, August 6.

Starring Cary Elwes and Robin Wright, this film about a young farmhand on a quest to be reunited with his one true love is a comedy classic.

There’s also a pre-show costume contest for prizes at 7:30p, so come dressed in your best scallywag swag and bring some chairs to the Bank of America parking lot in downtown Berkeley for this free family film screening.
