Presentation by Jim Fitzpatrick: One of the Cow Palace’s Major Attractions – – Promoter Roy Shire’s All-Star Wrestling/Big Time Wrestling

The San Mateo County History Museum at 2200 Broadway in Redwood City, will present Jim Fitzpatrick who will speak on the history of professional wrestling in Northern California, focusing on events held at the Cow Palace between 1960 and 1981.

Jim, a former Bay Bomber Roller Derby skater and later wrestling photographer, will give insights into the business and will render stories about such legends as Andre the Giant, Haystack Callhoun and Pepper Gomez.

The presentation augments the Museum’s current exhibit, The Extraordinary Cow Palace and will take place on September 6 at 1 p.m.

This program is sponsored by the Cypress Lawn Heritage Foundation.
