Public History in the Oakland-Bay Area: In Memory of Sr. Ethel Mary Tinnemann

Dennis Evanosky will share stories about (1) the thriving community of public history associations in the Bay Area, (2) a completed community project to restore and integrate the Grand Army of the Republic Civil War Memorial at Mountain View Cemetery, (3) a new project on Oakland and the Transcontinental Railroad, and finally (4) his collaborations with Sr. Ethel Mary Tinnemann. Audience members will be invited to share their favorite memories of Sr. Ethel Mary.
