Nitemoves and Al Lover | CANCELED: Push The Feeling DJ Night | Lower Haight

Push The Feeling features Nitemoves (Live, Moodgadget/Tycho) and Al Lover (Live, PNK SLIME/Impose), plus residents YR SKULL and epicsauce DJs on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Underground SF.

Free before 10 pm with an RSVP (or join on Facebook); otherwise, it’s $6.

Nitemoves – Best known as the drummer for both Tycho and Com Truise, Nitemoves’ just dropped LP on Ghostly-affiliated Moodgadget has received praise from XLR8R, Decoder, ISO50 and more and earned the D.C-based artist a slot on the recent Ghostly International Tour with like-minded beatmakers Shigeto and Beacon. Expect a set of 80s-indebted dance tunes reminiscent of his aforementioned collaborator Com Truise work.

Al Lover is easily one of the more interesting producers making music right now — basically the unexpected missing link between Thee Oh See’s psych-influenced garage rock and Madlib’s sample-heavy take on hip hop. Over the past few years, Al has remixed the likes of Ty Segall, White Fence, Nick Waterhouse and Nightbeats, toured Europe extensively, and collaborated with a diverse range of artist across the hip hop and garage rock world.
