Event Details

The Amabile String Quartet (Fran Tannenbaum Kaye, Yvonne Bernklau, violins; Adelaide Tolberg, viola; Tom Fattaruso, cello) will present three string quartets: Haydn, Op. 71, No. 2 in D-Major; Beethoven, Op. 18, No. 3 in D-Major; Schumann, Op. 41, No. 1 in a-minor.  Composed only 50 years apart, each of these three quartets are magnificent works in their own right, but played together, they illustrate the rapidly changing musical style preceding and following Beethoven’s time.
