Join your fellow queer feminist musicians of all varieties at the kickoff for the Queer Feminist Music Skill Share, Season Two Kickoff.  Come out to meet each other, exchange ideas for skill shares, and start planning our calendar of events for 2016.

They’ll also be showing the movie Born in Flames afterwards, starting at 4 pm. Food and popcorn provided.

Born in Flames is a film by Lizzie Borden released in 1983 that is stylized like a documentary that explores levels of racism, classism, feminism, sexism and heterosexism in an alternative United States socialist democracy. Also in the same year, the film won the “Reader Jury prize” at the Berlin International Film Festival and the “Grand Prix” at the Créteil International Women’s Film Festival.
