Presidio Free Programs: Talks, Music & Performances | SF
San Francisco’s tradition of diverse cultural expression started at the Presidio, and continues today with events that enlighten, engage, and entertain, taking place at the Presidio Officers’ Club.
Enjoy topical discussions, live music, dance, and interactive family activities, all free to the public and sponsored by the Presidio Trust, in partnership with cultural institutions from across the Bay Area.
Whether exploring new twists on traditional folk songs or premiering works by living composers, Quinteto Latino blends the vibrant colors and vigorous rhythms of Latin American music with the sumptuous voices of the wind quintet.
Founded in 2004 by French horn player Armando Castellano, this unique ensemble aims to expand the conventional boundaries of classical music tradition. Performing with impeccable artistry and infectious energy, these five musicians strive to make their music available, relevant, and inspiring to audiences across cultural, class, and ethnic lines.
