Event Details

In the aftermath of the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, along with the killing of six people and the wounding of 13 others in Tucson, a number of issues have been swirling in the public mind. How incendiary has public discourse become, and what impact has this discord had on society? Are pundits and politicians at all accountable for this kind of violence? To what extent are firearms too easily available, especially to unstable individuals? How many individuals suffering from mental illness remain untreated and therefore pose a danger to society? Come voice your views on what should be done in the wake of this American tragedy.
