Rare Pop-Up Art Museum In Alamo Square “Painted Lady” Victorian (Summer 2025)

For the first time ever, one of San Francisco’s iconic “Painted Ladies” on Alamo Square is opening its doors to the public – and it’s housing a rare pop-up art museum from local street artist fnnch.

Inside you’ll find street artist fnnch’s Honey Bear paintings over the last 10 years. There are 116 in all, many borrowed from collectors across the country.

The exhibition also features photos and descriptions of the origins of the various bear designs.

The venue is one of the famous Painted Ladies of Alamo Square. The view of these homes from the park is iconic, but there’s not much else to do. The fnnch Museum will invite people for free into one of the houses.

FREE – Registration is free but required for entry – RSVPs Open through August 31, 2025

Honey Bears
I painted my first Honey Bear edition in January 2015, and I have created 116 different editions since then. This show includes one painting from each edition, many borrowed back from collectors across the country. Never before have all the bears been in one space, and I guarantee there are some you have never seen.

Timeline
The show also includes a timeline with photos and descriptions of the origins of most bears. Some were designed for murals, some for commissions, and some for current events. I personally made over 250 placards for the show.

Venue
The venue is the @PinkPaintedLady, one of the seven iconic homes featured in the intro to Full House. The Painted Ladies are a major tourist attraction, but once you get your photo from the hill, there is nothing to do. The fnnch Museum will invite people for free into one of the houses.

This is one of the iconic Painted Ladies of San Francisco – a Victorian home in need of fixing-up. (and not actually pink yet.)

Registration Notes
Registration is on a per-day basis. The “12pm” just means that is the earliest entry time. The next page will show the end-time, which is usually but not always 8pm. Maximum of two guests per registration — please have another adult register if you are bringing more than two people.
