Join for this rare event at Chabot, in which you will see the Mercury crossing directly in front of the Sun.This will be an exciting early morning event beginning at sunrise.

During a transit, Mercury appears as a tiny black dot moving across the disk of the Sun. Weather permitting, the Mercury Transit can be viewed through the telescopes as well as provided sun spotters. Coffee and pastries will be available for purchase.

The next Transit of Mercury won’t take place until 2049, so don’t miss out on this incredible sight.
