Event Details

On June 19, RAWdance will present “Two by 24: Love on Loop”, an 8-hour outdoor contemporary dance installation on the experiences we all share as people who love and need each other.

As the title suggests, 12 couples – 24 dancers in all – will take turns performing a 20-minute duet in a loop for a total of 24 performances over the course of the day, highlighting the essential commonality of connection that transcends all lines of color, gender, sexuality, and culture. Though all couples share the same basic duet, no two loops are completely identical, just as each of us brings our own unique spin to our shared human experience.

– “site-specific experimental work done brilliantly…visionary dance at its best.” -Heather Desaulniers, CriticalDance.com

– “edgy, sexy inventive fare designed to speak to audiences” -Reyhan Harmanci, SF Weekly
