Record Store Day on Black Friday? It’s true, Record Store Day, which usually occurs in April, will celebrate AGAIN with a very special encore on Black Friday, November 26th.
Swing by Amoeba Music in both the Upper Haight and in Berkeley and purchase some great exclusive and limited edition CDs and vinyl.
Our favorite exclusive is the U2 12″ vinyl, “Wide Awake in Europe”: limited, numbered, 3 live tracks from European 360 tour, A side is a song called “Mercy” recorded live in Brussels on Sept 21st. New song, never before released. B side two live songs: “I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight,” (recorded in Dublin, July 27, 2009), “Moment of Surrender,” (from Sept 18, 2010 recorded live in Paris)
- There’s about 50 exclusive new titles (vinyl, 7″, CDs) being released for Record Store Day with prices ranging from $1.98 all the way up to $55
- Starting at 6pm listing to DJ Female Convict Scorpion, and at 7:30pm DJ Tarin-it-UP spins “Money Songs” in honor of Black Friday till 9pm
