ShadowLight Theatre presents a special Halloween night performance of “The Metamorphosis of Karaghiozis:” Greek Shadow Theatre performed by Leonidas Kassapides with live music in in Hallidie Plaza in San Francisco (Market and 5th)

Award-winning shadow artist Leonidas Kassapides joins live musicians to perform the traditional Greek form of storytelling with shadow puppetry.

The Metamorphosis of Karaghiozis epitomizes the comical tradition of Greek Shadow Theatre, featuring the beloved folk hero, Karaghiozis. Set during the Ottoman Empire, The Metamorphosis of Karaghiozis is an adventure full of action, comedy and spectacular confrontations with a monster that turns humans into strange creatures. Join our endlessly hilarious hero Karaghiozis as he cleverly solves conflict.

This show is performed in English and is appropriate for all ages.
