Woody Guthrie and the Great American Folksong | El Cerrito

Tim Holt will present a brief history of the American folksong, from the old-time ballads of Appalachia to the ramblin’, Depression-era songs of Woody Guthrie, including the origins of our folk music in the British Isles and West Africa. He will also sing a variety of songs and lead a sing-a-long of some of his favorite tunes
