“Off the Record” Free Concert Night | Boom Boom Room

For the first time in over ten years, Boom Boom Room is open again for a free Monday night underground throwdown called, Off The Record.

Every Monday night from July 7 – August 25, 2014, from 8:30 pm to 1:30 am, Off The Record will host featured artists, DJs and local up-and-coming bands in a live format. Each evening will be hosted by a guest Bay Area music community MC and The Bad Jones will be the house band backing the featured artist’s set as well as the guest musicians that perform during the late night session.

The evening’s three sets will be connected by short sets from a featured DJ. All throughout, the MC will move the evening along with brief artist interviews and crowd interactions.

The First Church of the Sacred Silversexual is a musical, theatrical, sparkly spectacle of a show that tap dances on all the lines between religion and revelry, beatitude and blasphemy, rock show and revival.

It’s a truly interactive religious experience that brings you the music of David Bowie in a manner you’ve never envisioned before.
