“Everything you ever wanted to know about Marxism but were afraid to ask”

Join the Platypus Affiliated Society’s Berkeley chapter as they screen the 1981 epic drama “Reds” in recognition of the centenary of the 1917 Russian Revolution. Featuring Warren Beatty as the famed American journalist and revolutionary, John Reed (also starring Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson) as it follows his harrowing journey to Russia during the October revolution. Beatty once screened the film for Ronald Reagan in the White House.

Discussion and drinks to follow. Located at Berkeley City College — downstairs in room 033.
