“Reflected Spirits” Animal Painting Exhibit | SF

Secession Art & Design’s newest show, Reflected Spirits, featuring Joshua Coffy and Dianne Hoffman, honors the connection and strength found in animals. Approaching their art through disparate mediums, they each explore one creature from very different perspectives. Coffy paints his animals with soulful eyes that draw the viewer into a magical environment that is respectful of the natural world. Hoffman’s unique talent with three-dimensional assemblage reimagines the discarded as beautiful and humorous. Together they create a story with unexpected instinct, fine detail, and whimsical fantasy, showing the ability of these two artists to explore an altered primal state.

Join us for an opening reception on Friday, June 12, 6:30-9:30pm for a chance to meet the artists.

Show runs June 2 – July 26. Secession Art and Design is open noon to 7pm, Tuesday through Sunday.
