Cumbia, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Salsa, and World Music masters, La Gente, are ready to get your lips a-moovin and your hips a-groovin at their CD release show at The Chapel. Founded in 2002 right here in The Bay, La Gente, or, “The People” for you non espanol speakers, have performed with George Clinton and The P-Funk All Stars, E-40, La Santa Cecilia, The Digital Underground, and many more big name music makers.
Featuring ‘Califas Flamenkito’ band, LoCura, underground Hip Hoppers, 2nd Floor Samurais, and member of the legendary Afrolicious party crew, DJ Izzy Wise, this multi-cultural music mecca is just what you need to sexy up your Saturday.
