Event Details

Relic is a weekly Old School/Soul/ Funk live music event at Monroe, one of SF’s newest ultra lounges. .

On March 14, 2012 come early for an open gin bar from 10-10:45pm hosted by Oxley Gin.

Monroe is located in the old legendary Jazz Workshop building. Where the greats; Miles Davis, James Moody, Johnny Coltrane , Lenny Bruce played. In 1961 Lenny Bruce was famously arrested here for using obscenity during his standup comedy performance.

But there’s more than just history here. Look forward to:

  • 4 rooms of soul thumping Old School and Funk with resident DJ Jerry Ross
  • open until 2am
  • outdoor heated patio
