Kevin Durant’s Brand New Colorful Basketball Court Opening | Hayes Valley

Unfortunately, Kevin Durant has moved on from the Warriors, but he’s leaving San Francisco a very nice present!

Join in on Monday, July 29 from 3 to 5 pm to celebrate the reopening of the sport courts, which recently completed a renovation. The event will feature a speakers, along with basketball activities and giveaways.

In addition to the tennis court, which was renovated through the SF Recreation and Parks budget, the basketball court resurfacing and court mural project was funded with a generous $99,500 grant from the Kevin Durant Charity Foundation (KDCF) through its Build It and They Will Ball Initiative, with support from Joe Gebbia (co-founder of Airbnb).

The court now features a unique artistic design by local San Francisco artist Apexer.
