SF Parks Alliance, DoTheBay, and Alamo Drafthouse announce the return of Sundown Cinema, now in partnership with SF Neighborhood Theater Foundation’s long-standing Film Night in the Park. The expanded outdoor movie series features seven films spread across six parks in all corners of the City, beginning and ending at Dolores Park.
We’ll be giving away 2 pairs of reserved section access to the Sundown Cinema debut, July 12 at Dolores Park.
The summer series kicks off with the first public screening (in decades) of the Lucas classic Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. The event starts at 6 pm. Film screening begins after sunset (around 8 pm).
