Is 2015 the year you get savvy at urban cycling? Start with SoSF Bike Tours & CityRide Bike Rentals on a free guided urban bike ride.
Free, but an RSVP is required. (A bike rental is $10, if you need one.)
They’ll go over safety, smart riding techniques, hazards to look out for, and the best bike routes in SF. Perhaps more importantly, you’ll have fun on this casually paced social ride.
Don’t have a bike? No problem – purchase an Eventbrite ticket that includes bike and helmet rental for $10 (normally $32/day) from CityRide Bike Rentals. CityRide has sweet, comfortable city bikes with no loud advertising, so you can blend in with the city around you.
The ride departs at 11 am. Free Ritual coffee will be served at 10:15 am. Please arrive by 10:45 am if you have your own bike; if you’re renting, arrive by 10:30 am. Total distance is 7-8 miles.
The ride is for those 13+ and is limited to 25 participants. Rain postpones the ride. Dress in layers and bring some water to drink. If you’re renting a bike, bring an ID and credit card.
