Return of the Cypher (ROTC) is free live Hip-Hop show every Sunday at the Boom Boom Room that features an ever-changing lineup of artists and improvised sessions (know as “cyphers”) where beatboxers, emcees, and musicians collaborate in a spontaneous combustion of soulful skill.

This Sunday Zulu Nation emcee, INK1 blesses the ROTC stage to celebrate the release of the new album “Writing In Pictures”.

Ink1 born Lynell Berkley is an extraordinaire MC, DJ/Producer, BBoy and Graffitti Artist. He began his career as a BBoy which transpired to Graffitti, DJing, and MCing , at an early age. As a young MC hungry to put out music Ink1 had no time to wait on getting beats from producers, so he decided to make his own and music and rap over his own tracks, which lead to his first album Raw Soul.
